Children's Reading Challenge

For young readers who are looking to explore new authors, series, genres, and more, check out our Children's Reading Challenge. Read at your own pace and see how many prompts you can fulfill while discovering new authors or continuing to read favorite authors. Participation in this reading challenge counts toward any other reading challenges you do at home, school, a library, personal reading, etc. 

Anyone who completes at least three reading prompts during the challenge will be invited to attend a special picnic in Lakeview Park in summer 2026. Games and a sack lunch will be provided. An email with questions about dietary restrictions will be sent closer to the party.
