Cicada Celebration Craft Contest

Brood XIII is emerging after a 17 year "sleep."  Let's celebrate their arrival!  Stop by the Info Desk on the Second Floor and pick up your blank cicada model.  From there, take it home and let your creativity run wild.  Paint, beads, pompoms...the sky is the limit!  You could turn it into a brooch, a keychain, or even a diorama!  

Email a picture of your finished creation to Programming @ppl.peoria.lib.il.us by June 30 and you will be entered into a prize drawing.  Age ranges: birth to 5th grade, middle/high school, and adults.
