We'll have all 5 of our Thinking Money for Kids Games available and you pick which one you'd like to try!
Piggy Bank Theater (recommended ages 3-8) - Take part in an interactive story time where you'll help our young characters build childhood interests into careers, making financial choices along the way.
Currency Conga (recommended ages 5-9) - Let the currency spinner decide your next move as you build up your currency recognition and money math skills.
Making Mooo-lah (recommended ages 6-12) - Work together on a life-size game board to see if you can run a financially successful farm.
Penny Pinchers' Party (recommended ages 6-12) - Become a party planner, help your client stay on budget, and work to be the Party Champion who throws the most entertaining event.
Pet Cents (recommended ages 8-12) - Adopt a pet, take on the financial responsibilities of pet ownership, and reach your goal of meeting all of your pet's needs on a budget.
All attendees will receive a cardboard piggy bank to decorate and take home.
This program is brought to you by the Thinking Money for Kids Grant through ALA and FINRA. This grant helps to provide engaging kids programs about financial education through age-appropriate play. Designed and vetted by children's librarians and financial experts.
