Join Communication Junction for a 30 minute interactive Sign and Sing Storytime. This story time is great for children ages 0-5 and is created around a theme, filled with stories, songs, movement and bubbles.

Looking for some book-themed holiday decor in your home, but don't know where to start? Come on in to enjoy some hot coco and warmth inside at the Main library to make book-page wreaths with us!

Keep your own hands warm or pass along to a friend!  We're going to end the year on a simple note.  Join us for a fun morning of crafting.  Learn how to make some super easy handwarmers, or bring a project you are trying to finish.

Build the gingerbread house of your dreams --- or take home a pile of crumbled graham cracker bits if your design doesn't work out! Either way, we'll have fun and learn some things together! And, of course, EAT :) 

In anticipation of the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie, we are having a watch party for Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic the Hedgehog 2!

It's the most wonderful time of the year: time for decorating gingerbread houses!  We'll provide the houses and a wide assortment of candies and other goodies to stick on them, you bring the holiday cheer!

Come celebrate Jane Austen's birthday with us! We'll be showing the movie Pride & Prejudice, having (and spilling!) tea, and creating a Regency-era craft. Registration is required.

The Griswold family is coming to the screen at Peoria Public Library! Wear your favorite festive shirt and come ready to drink some egg nog as we watch Christmas Vacation (1989, rated PG-13).

This year, "we’re gonna have the hap-hap-happiest Christmas" at the Library by hosting National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation Trivia Night.

Join us for an infant-toddler storytime designed to introduce your little ones to the wonderful world of reading through music, movement, repetition, and a story read-aloud followed by play time with other families. Best for ages 0-24 months.
