Event Details

We are hosting an Open House in the Community Garden at Neighborhood House! The youth at Neighborhood House have been working diligently to grow, harvest, and distribute produce for our community. Please join us as we celebrate their hard work with a brief program, a viewing of the community garden space, and presentations from our youth about their experiences.

This program is in conjunction with the Peoria community's one city-one book programming, otherwise known as Peoria Reads! Our Peoria Reads 2024 programming is all centered around Doug Tallamy's book, Nature's Best Hope: A New Approach to Conservation that Starts in Your Yard
