Please join us for our final community discussion of the 2024 Peoria Reads book, Nature’s Best Hope by David Tallamy.

Laura Hertz, Master Gardener, Rick Pantages, Master Gardener and Peoria School Garden Network, and Dr. Melinda McBee Orzulak, Associate Professor with Bradley University, will guide us as we consider how to approach conservation in our own backyard.

Resources related to using the young reader’s version of the book with grades 6-12 classrooms (including outdoor classrooms) also will be provided.

This program will be held at the Outdoor Education Center (OEC) at Peoria Academy (2711 W Willow Knolls Dr, Peoria) and is open to the public.

Please note ~ the Outdoor Education Center (OEC) is located behind Peoria Academy. Access the OEC via the driveway between Peoria Academy and the Lexus dealership (see map in the attachments to the right).
