In celebration of 100 years of Black History Month, Lakeview Branch will be having a knowledge quest featuring 16 Black heroes who have each made history with their talents and courage. 

Display of Women Hats will be the focus for the month of February, in honor of Mae Reeves.  The first African American woman from Philadelphia whom in 1942, became an entrepreneur by opening her hat shop, called Mae's Millinery. Ms.

Pick up a STEM kit at the Information Desk to take home. It includes materials and simple instructions you'll need to complete the craft. While supplies last. 

Celebrate Valentine's day and National Library Lovers month with a bookmark you can take home and decorate yourself! 

Pick up a ceramic heart dish and paint to celebrate with a Valentine's Day-themed craft. Available while supplies last.

Pick up a winter-themed craft kit at the Information Desk to take home. While supplies last. Ages 5 to 12. 

Celebrate and learn about Lunar New Year with a Year of the Horse craft kit to take home!
