It's a slime party! Join us for our summer slime lab! Reserve your spot online or by calling 309-497-2600. 

Join us for a bubble bonanza at North Branch!  We'll start with a special bubble storytime, then move out to explore a few bubble-making stations (outside, weather permitting), including giant bubbles, bubble painting, and more.

Help North Branch welcome the Children's Opera Outreach Program for a rousing performance of "My Best Friend's a Pirate!"  This interactive performance will feature the music of Rossini, Mozart, Verdi and many more. 

Relax, cool down, and enjoy video games each week during the summer. We have Nintendo Switches, VR Headsets, and our Computer Lab open for game time.

Join us and become a part of the decision making process at the library. Teens will be able to recommend books, help plan programs, and provide critical feedback to ensure the library is best serving teens. Plus, it looks good on resumes!

Join us for an infant-toddler storytime designed to introduce your little ones to the wonderful world of reading through music, movement, repetition, and a story read-aloud followed by play time with other families. Best for ages 0-24 months.

Join us for a very messy car wash! Kids will drive toy cars into edible messy containers and then rinse them off as though at a car wash. Come dressed to get very messy and wet!

We want to inspire the scientists of tomorrow! This summer we will be exploring our world in ways you never imagined. From the microscopic biomes all around us to our interstellar neighborhood.

Celebrate sharks with us this week with games, crafts and snacks! 

Pick a book matching our new monthly theme to read and discuss at our Graphic Novel Book Club. We'll share what we read, talk about that month's theme, and enjoy an activity or craft while we snack.
