Are you interested in starting to use the library but you don't know where to begin?  Come join us for a quick tour to see what the library has to offer.  We will cover all four floors and discover resources and treasures on each.

Join us for an infant-toddler storytime designed to introduce your little ones to the wonderful world of reading through music, movement, repetition, and a story read-aloud followed by play time with other families. Best for ages 0-3.

Join us at the Peoria Historical Society's Flanagan House Museum as we discuss the works of Jane Austen.

Join us for open play time where caregivers and tots can come to interact and play each week.

Join Communication Junction for a 30 minute interactive Sign and Sing Storytime. This story time is great for children ages 0-5 and is created around a theme, filled with stories, songs, movement and bubbles.

Join us for a family-friendly storytime! Best for ages 2-5, but children of all ages are welcome!

If a hike in the woods or "farmhouse chic" are right up your alley, this may be the craft for you.  You will learn to transfer photos using Mod Podge.  *****BRING 3 DIFFERENT PHOTOS THAT WOULD YOU WOULD LIKE TO TRANSFER.

The Atlantic Monthly Discussion Group meets on the second Monday of the month at 11 a.m. (except in October when it is the third Monday.)

Join us for music, movement and stories for kids 2 to 5 years old.

Engage with your little ones ages 3-6 years at a special building program.  You and your child can sample a variety of fun kid building toys during the hour long program.

Bring your sewing, knitting, crochet, or other project and join us for monthly times to share progress, get help, and meet fellow crafters.

It's that time of year!  We're decorating gingerbread houses at North Branch again, so bring your family to make your own sweet sensation.  We'll provide a variety of goodies and some ideas for inspiration.

In conjunction with the 2025 Peoria Reads title, Holding the Note: Profiles in Popular Music by David Remnick, we will be showing the 2005 documentary, Leonard Cohen: I'm Your Man. 

Join us and become a part of the decision making process at the library. Teens will be able to recommend books, help plan programs, and provide critical feedback to ensure the library is best serving teens.

Seniors - please join us for Wednesday Matinees! Each month we will watch a classic movie. Light snacks will be provided. December's feature is "Miracle on 34th Street," starring Edmund Gwenn, John Payne, and Maureen O'Hara.

Author Dr. John D. Van Dyke joins us to discuss his book The Lindbergh Kidnapping and The Origin of the Viral Conspiracy Theory. 

Ages 10-18. Join us for monthly sessions of Dungeons & Dragons, designed for teens and tweens. Learn the basics of the game and have fun!
